Google Sheet with Older Adult Data Resources
Our Data Committee has created a shared Google Sheet listing data sources related to older adults in Alameda County. This resource brings together local and national data on topics such as digital access, health, housing, transportation, and more. Collecting these sources will allow us to support research, planning, and advocacy for older adults.
We invite community members, partners, and organizations to explore the data and contribute additional sources through our submission form. Together, we can build a stronger understanding of the needs and opportunities facing older adults in Alameda County.
Client Stories: Adding A Human Face To Our Data
Another project from out Data Committee is collecting program-level data and personal stories that highlight the real-life impact of our services to older adults. While data helps us measure outcomes, stories put a face to the numbers and illustrate the human side of our work. If you have compelling examples or client stories (anonymous or with permission to share) please consider contributing via this form. Your input helps us advocate more effectively and demonstrate the value of our programs.
Digitial Inclusion in Alameda County Infographic
Our Digital Inclusion Committee has created an infographic that highlights the importance of digital inclusion for older adults in Alameda County. The graphic shows the barriers they face when trying to stay connected, covering issues like affordability, device access, and reliable internet.
Alameda County’s Age-Friendly efforts are developed and supported by a partnership among Alameda County Social Services Agency, Alameda County Health, and the Council for Age-Friendly Communities.
